Food & Emotions of Elmhurst – Broadway Bridge Mural

Designed by Elmhurst resident Helen Xue, our youth team and local artists came together to create a powerful mural under the Broadway Bridge that explores the deep connection between food, culture, and emotion. Drawing inspiration from the diverse voices of Elmhurst, the mural invites neighbors to see their own stories reflected in its themes of emotional resilience and local flavors. This project not only beautified the community but also empowered young people to lead, collaborate, and leave a lasting mark on their city.
